A different presentation of a box / hollowform. A small lidded box to put something special, and have a gorgeous piece to display on your mantle / shelf / table, or wherever you wish. It is also nice just to display on its own !

Western Red Cedar body and lid, with Canarywood finial and legs, sitting on a ring of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. This piece was born from a challenge I got from someone, and the challenge was to turn the lightest possible hollow cone. I decided to turn the challenge into a piece of sculptural art. The main body weighed just 57 grams before finish was applied. This was not as easy as it looks, made more difficult with the use of Western Red Cedar.
